    Default portable boats

I saw a guy near at intake 2 above bishop with a collapsable boat called a port-a-bote. Anybody have experience with them? How do they compare with kayak?
They collapse to 4 inches wide and are easy to take anywhere according to the guy who owned it.
    Thoughts anyone?
    Thanks

i have a porta bote. bought it about 3 months ago. its the 10ft model with a 3hp johnson outboard. its actually pretty stable in the water. and i've used it quite a bit. like most other people with porta botes, i'm getting a trailer for it soon. its not as easy as it seems to put it together. if you're doing it alone, it's pretty hard. either way, it takes about 30 min to set it up with 2 people, and taking it apart is a breeze. if you have any other questions pm me.

I only take my friend and I 10 mins to setup. My friend is selling his 12 foot. Anyone interested?
