First Fish of 2010 and PB Striper
stayed up all night, took off about 4 to pick up some friends and off to dvl
waited in line till almost seven before they opened the gate and by the time we paid our dues and walked down the huge freakin launch ramp it 7:30
anyway long story short we threw swimbaits all day, me throwing the lunker punker and 8" triple trout not even a bite til about 10:30 when the stocking truck showed up and the stripers went on the feed
saw about ten or fifteen trout b-line it to the shore right in front of me and i knew there was something chasing them, threw out the triple trout and got hammered about 20 ft from the shore, after about a 4 or 5 min fight which was freakin awesome i landed my PB striper
had no scale but im guessing somewhere in the region of 12-15 pounds
no bites the rest of the day
btw i saw about 500 trout cruising the shoreline and about 50 caught, get out there guys its easy pickins
