Thread: surf rod ?

  1. #1

    Default surf rod ?

I am looking to find a lightweight spinning surf rod that is around 8 6' and I dont want to spend to much (50 bucks or less), does anybody have any ideas where I might be able to find such a rod (used or new)? I was at bass pro shops the day after christmas and everything they had was around 120 bucks, and the craigslist search is not going well..

    thanks, bergie berg

8'6" Shimano Clarus steelhead rod is your best bet. Online or Norm's Big Fish Bait and Tackle wold be the places to look. Norm's has some nice, affordable long surf rods that may fit your bill too that aren't the Clarus steelhead rods.
