Suicide trip for Bako striper/trout limits

3 year old woke me up at 5 am trying to get in bed. Wide awake now. Head to the duct.

Fishing by 530, home by 640 with 6 fish in 8 casts [2 kept]. Gates shut off completely at 6 am.

Fish caught on jerkbaits and in the middle of current.

Stripers had 2 sculpin






Took kids to school and decided to hit Buena Vista for a limit on a second species.

Didn't have much luck at all the spots then around 330 talked to a comrade and he suggested a spot he has had luck at. BINGO!

Easy limit in 30 mins. WFO.. 5 stockers, no real size



Fished from 530 am to about 4pm.. Tired as heck, and gotta go to work in an hour.

Ahhhh yes....nice days slay....just add some saltwater fish next time and the journey will have been complete..

No doubt! I've really lost my touch with fishing it seems. I'm just not willing to put the time in to get dialed-in again.
