    what types of top-water lures have you guys had the MOST success with. is the color of the lure important. i just went out and got some white chatterbait to catch some LMB. DOES CHATTERBAIT WORK. what time of the day do largemouth usually bite? LEAVE YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS!! THANKYOU FOR ALL THE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    Top waters are generally not going to be working this time of year. The fish are deep right now since it is winter. I have been only catching fish deep, so you shouldn't be using topwaters this time of year. I have never tried a chatterbait, but they look pretty good. The bass should be biting all day if you can find them.
