I made a feathered tail hook with silicone material. I am going to detail it with a sharpie pen and give it a hair cut :)

Bing, that looks like a killer for downrigging or casting. How long is it?

It's 7 inches long, 8.5 with the skirted tail and 4 oz.s. Sinks at about 1 foot per second. And the ballasting makes it swim right side up :)

I agree it looks like it might be a trolling lure. Good job on the painting but I would replace the snap swivel.

The snap swivel is part of the drying rack :) The lure won't have it.

I sure hope its not a trolling lure. It actually suspends pretty good. And I have the ability to tune it by just drilling into the lead ballast weights.
