You should also just lowball the price of the boat and also put up a little more $$$ and also buy a gas outboard later on.... get a small Nissan/Tohatsu....Yamaha, Mercury, Johnson/Evinrude, Suzuki etc..... Try selling the float tube on CL too.... and keep the fishfinder for the new boat,,, :-)
ya thats what im thinking. i posted up the tube on craigslist for 400 and i know i will get lowballed to 300. i just need to sell it. i would love a small outboard just cant afford it right now. ill definetly pick up a trollin motor from bass pro shop.

anyone ever use a dinghy? the ones that or inflate on the sides?

Yes I have a 9' Inflatable. It is beat up really bad,,, But when it was good it was pretty comfortable to fish out of and a 2.5hp nissan pushed it pretty well.... worked for 2 people well.... Inflatatin was somewhat of a hassle but it was stable,,,

Look for a used Livingston 10'. They are awesome. Here is a new one for a great price:

    Normally I think they're about 2K.

The Water Tender 9.4 is only $599 new at West Marine.

Go here for some good coupons to save more dough:

You can definitely find a used Water Tender 9.4 on craigslist for $300. I've seen them there before, once even with a trailer I think.

Good luck on your search. The catamaran style hull dingies are best for the 8-12' sizes. Much more stable and comfortable.

No problem, dude. Just keep checking craigslist. Check all day long, numerous times. LA, OC, Inland Empire, Ventura. You will find one for $300 but you have to have the money in your pocket and be ready to pounce like a freakin' tiger! Wouldn't hurt if you had a truck ready to pick up the boat on the hop, too.

    Good luck!

You still looking for a used Water Tender 9.4?

What was wrong with the one you saw the pics of?
