BBL Post TroutFest 10/11/09

I just want to say thanks to all the folks for the Big Bear Lake TroutFest. At least you left us some fish. We have not been up since June of this year. We did OK going 5 for 8 on mostly orange meat salmon. Finding a weed hole on the North Shore is key. The usual spots will produce fish. We stayed all morning till noon to get this. Don’t let that late morning blow scare you. We hope to make it up the hill again before too long.

Go get’em boys. Don’t want to hear about BBL being a Skunk Lake!

WOW thats awesome! were you shore fishing or boat? shore fisherman have all the luck this year, leaving 4 bbl tomorrow or weds weather pending,nice haul

We were fishing PB from shore. If you can find an open spot in the weeds anywhere on the North Shore from the Dam to Windy Point you should do OK. We hit Juniper on Sat. night for 3 hours for not even a bite. Don't think the trout have moved that far east yet.
