Great looking setup. Too bad I sold my SX I would have had the same setup. Too many problems casting light weights I fished the dam from shore too last tuesday and experienced pretty much the same exact thing. Waited for boils till around 9am and was fishing right in them and through them for probably 30 mins straight for nothing not even a bump. They were keying in on really small bait. Later on I walked the dam and switched to a carolina rigged 3" salt and pepper reaper and caught about 15 or 20 in a couple hours. Mostly small ones around a pound or a pound and a half with some smaller ones and also broke off a couple in the rocks using 6lb fluro. Lots of fun though you should def give it a try. I pretty much threw everything I had at them before deciding to really downsize my bait. Wish I could afford to rent a boat
