King Harbor afternoon session (PICS)
My friend Greg and I decided to fish the Harbor after school today. We got there at about 4:30 and fished until dark. We started out drop shotting but then we switched over to catching opaleye. After catching countless opaleye and getting kicked out of our spot we fished wham tails and I was awarded with a nicer grade bonito and a legal sand bass. We also lost a few short but good sized cuda, it would have been nice to have the three B's in the harbor.
I'll see everyone that will be fishing the Tradition Sunday.

Nice fishing for sure. Thanks for the post

Good job guys. It's nice you got a bass, I hear they've been kind of twitchy with the warmer water.

Thats nice size bonito from the harbor! and nice sandbass too. dropshot gulp jerkshads seem to work really good around the docks for spotties and sandbass. What are you using for the bonito? I like the 3/4 oz megabaits for harbor fishing. I love fishing the docks LOL...
See ya sunday.

You'll get kicked out less now that it's cooling off. Peoples' tempers tend to chill when the temperature drops for some reason. Nice bonehead!
-
great report,
are you not allowed to fish anywhere in the harbor? Who kicks you out, restaurant owners?
-
lol yacht owners, restaurant owners, police.... just to name a few
