    just got back a lot of people their waiting by the launch ramp. The waves were non existent. but nice bsing with everybody there all having a good time.saw the sunbeam go out to make bait and he was not worried.saw all the harbor boats go in because there was no action. but another day in paradise with a t shirt and no worries.thanx for reading.

    the only thing i can think of that can cause a damaging tsunami in california would be a powerful landslide from the canary islands..

    from what i heard, the "tsunami" merely caused unusual rip currents

    Canary Islands? Although its been a great while, the last time I was there, they were located off the southern coast of Morocco...in the Atlantic Ocean.

    actually you're right, it wasnt the canaries, i cant remember what chain of islands it was, but i remember reading an article warning about a landslide in some remote island posing a significant threat to the pacific coast.. maybe it was somewhere in oceania. cant remember.
