"need some info on stripey's"

i just wanted to know where is the best place to fish for stripe bass right now. i mean silverwood lake is close to my house but i dont really like that lake. but i mean if its worth it ill go. I'm not sure yet if im going to be fishing from the shore yet or on a boat, but if i fish from the shore whats the best bait to use and wat spot?

You may get better results if you posted in the general board and not reports.

Silverwood has been a little tough this summer, normally picking off the stripers in Cleghorn or Miller is pretty darn easy, not this summer though. Be patient and give it a couple more weeks to cool down and for the bait to grow up a bit, I gotta believe it is going to turn on soon.

and where is that gleghorn or miller?and so the cooler the better for stipes?
