8/24/2009 A Berry Good Day

Hit the Jewel with Art Berry today with my pop RB and Art on the old #8 pontoon. A great fishing platform and Art is a great guy and guide on the lake. He is hounded by the lurkers when you fish with him but truely on the weekday they stay til they are frustrated watching the catching then you fish alone for the most part. This was my first time with Art but it was great we caught over 30 fish by 1pm with big fish being about 8lbs. Great active fish on top all day. I will be back after Art fishes The Open. Here is some fish porn. I have fished all over the country with lots of guides and Art is very good, knows his stuff, and is reasonably priced for what you are getting. If you live in So Cal and you want to catch bass you should try it. Good luck in the Open at Mead Art.
