    I find informercials very amusing. I remember when cable first came out and the big selling point back then was that there would be no commercials. Now cable features 30 min and sometimes a whole hour devoted to convincing you to buy a product. The informercials become the programing, buying whole slots of time. While Carl's Jr can convince you that you're hungry and need to buy a hamburger in less than 30 seconds.
