Started off with my fishing partner DoubleD calling me at 0600 telling me can't find his tackle box with his license in it, I said oh well man look for it later and get down to the lake, and I'll get ya a day pass- so we meet up at the store and on the water by 7ish.

Water temp is a cool 82.5f, we drop the DR and immediately get a a hit in 25' outside the launch ramp- one of the 1st many schoolies that day.. We pretty much stayed in the main channel and worked a triangle pattern like working the west side trolling DV- trying to entice with rapalas.
DoubleD gets the first one down at 35ft:

I later was trolling a whole crawler on my glass rod to see what would come up, and nailed a nice Gill. We later dialed in a couple others in the 30' range with the rapalas:

Overcast in the morning burned off around 8-9am, metered schoolies not sure how all the folks did at the inlet or elsewhere. Off the water early today.. That was about it, sort of warm.
