    Does anybody happen to know if there are anyplace near DVL or Temecula area selling live minnows?

    Not that i know because they are not allowed in this region. I know that some bait and tackle places used t sell them for use in the San Diego Lakes. Don't get caught using them at DVL...

    You really should check out the DFG regulations. From what I read and understand you really can't purchase and transport any live fin bait.
