a) Jared and his crew at Parchers are my freinds! I have only knowen Jared for maybe a year and he has been absolutley the nicest guy I have ever had the pleasure of being around. He goes outta of his way to make sure his customers are okay.
b) the staff at BCL was super cool to me and I talked to all of them about what life was like out here at the lake. Kind of faimilar.
c) I throughly agree with Jared about protecting homes, buisness and national structures! If that area burned we would loose hundreds of years of history...
I also remeber, and I appreciated, all of the concern when the Sanitago Fire burned right up to the lake edge! Most of you know I call Irvine Lake my home..I baiscally grew up there. And there was a lot of concern for us! I was deeply concerned because this is not only my home lake but its where I make my living.
With that being said how do you think the people of Bishop think when you say let it burn! Jared and his family have their lives invested in that place! Not to mention the countless other people that call that area home! For you to say that is unreal!
With the record temperatures, heat lighting, dry conditions, and a drought this fire season is going to be horrible!!!!! I am praying that the area around the lake does not burn. Their is an area that has not burned in over 50 years! So for the eco people please understand that a lot of peoples blood, sweat and tears go into the buisness out there!
Good luck to all the residents of Bishop!!
