Nice TD, really nice....that dude with the mullet is classic......

I have done my share of time on the salt, I need to get back into it more...but damn it sure has turned into a rich man's sport. $50-$60 bucks used to cover you for a 3/4 day trip including galley, tip and fish cleaning! I guess the days of $20 half days and $15 re-rides on the Lenbrooke/Aquarius are over....

Yeah my boy Dodger Doggy has long since ditched the mullet, but yeah "classic" would be a great way to describe him no doubt! Don't kid yourself you could still earn that title yourself!

Thanks cappo...although the majority of my trips are chasing the trout I still got some salt left in my veins, we'll fish together sometime I'm sure of it!

Thanks Chris. I have quite a few more I might post up, but I didn't want to bore you guys with vintage fish porn

    Nice Silver Salmon!
Much appreciated TJ, always fun to walk down memory lane going through old pictures. As far as the marlin I wish I at least had a picture of the fish along side the boat, but we did the tag and release thing and I missed the photo opp...I think they estimated around 135lbs or so. Those things are fun, but I would rather yank on a tuna myself.

Pretty shocking stuff eh Jimmy, nice job noting the Dodger bandana...when you hand me my money at the end of the season for the Dodgers having a better record than the halos I think you should have to wear it!

awesome photos, this will remind me to always bring a camera. Something about documenting all the fish you caught is something that belongs in your history. Awesome.

Thanks Daruis, I try to bring a camera whenever I hit the water...I recall forgetting it one trip out of Malibu and I caught a 26lb halibut and all I have are pics of the fillets because I wanted the crew to fillet it correctly. Someone took a pic and I gave them my info, but they never mailed it to me...oh well! Just a reminder like you said to bring the camera from now on. I appreciate the kudos, thanks again!

"Old school pics" are always fun to look at because you can look back and say "oh yeah I remember that....". That big ol setup was a friend's of mine and considering he caught a 500lb blue the year before on it he considered it a must have on all his baja trips. Thanks for the feedback Red!

Yeah I was definitely going for the Karate Kid look considering we are both from Reseda! I have a few more destinations on my list to check off, but I have been very lucky to have fished the places I have thus far. Thanks for the props buddy.

Really great pics TD..........Enjoy your memory lane pics, what fun. All the pics I had got destroyed in my house fire years ago. I still have the images in my brain. BTW, Speedtwin runs out of Capt Hooks, still a fun boat to go on. Great boat to do a T57 salt trip on. You can charter for a 5-5 for a descent price. C U Soon, miss fishing with you. OFG
