    Default Trout rod for rivers

I'm going to be fishing the klamath river for a few weeks, just wondering what would be a good rod around $60

Get a Daiwa Spinmatic-X rod for $35 including shipping. Best value trout rod ever and has not let me down. They have many different lengths, but I prefer the 6'6" for my all-around, multi-purpose rod. For jigs and such the 7'6" would be perfect. Check ebay.

That's exactly why I chose those rods over, say, a Phenix or G.Loomis. I could easily get 6-7 spinmatics for the price of one Phenix or Loomis and for trout, I honestly don't think that the rod matters as much as, say, bass fishing or ocean fishing.
