Default Trip of a lifetime on a private lake!

Got a chance to go to Tejon Lake on the 4th of July. I've been there a few times in the past - but this trip was FANTASTIC!

Four nice bass! I caught the biggest, 7lbs. My friend caught a 6.14, and my son-in-law caught a 6.11 and a 5.08! The two biggest were caught on spinnerbaits, the others on brushhogs and sinkos "wacky" style.

My son-in-law even topped it off by catching an 18lb catfish on a spinnerbait! That's a first for me!

Lots of "smaller" fish that were all truly nice - but not enough to take a picture I guess! Any one of them would have been the big fish of the day on any other trip.

What a great way to celebrate Independence Day!

(Unfortunately some of the pics were too big to upload - sorry)

    Nice catches!

I want to fish that lake so bad, it looks really nice.

I've nailed a nice catfish on a spinnerbait before, they will bite 'em.

Nice catfish and chunky bass. Looked like a great trip. Those private lakes rule when it comes to fishing them.
