    Default Willow

Not really Socal but good enough. On vacation and have the rods with me so I hit Lake Mead NRA (willow) this morning. Beautiful but humid morning. A guy is in a spot I always check out and he hasn't seen or caught anything and he's been there since 4 am!!
Doing what I do, tossed out a 10 inch T4 and nailed this little guy first cast!!

That was it for me!!:( Killed any potential skunk so it was worth it!!
Look who I saw. The man himself, AC. Nailed a 10 where I got the little fish and returned to see AC beat me to it!!

    Striper snacks being delivered!!

I'll check back later after the sun sets!!

Weird seeing the stocking truck. When my parents lived there they would just release trout through the water draining out of the hatchery. No need for a truck. I heard the hatchery was being remodeled, but I thought it was finished?
