pb flathead on double hookup
Four hours before registeration for the flat masters event in blythe i was fishing with bluehunter and true blue and it happened....1 pole had a run, ended up being a 9 pound flathead cat....at the same time reeling it in my other pole started running...true blue and blue hunter helped me with both lines....the second pole landed my PB. 50 to 55 pound flathead(i scale at b&b said 55 another said 50...so well call it 53)all in all good night...a PB and DOUBLE hookup at the same time...i was using 65 pound spider wire on a med action rod with a spinner reel.Tilapia was the bait..and yes for the ones who want to know the cats were kept and went to a family who needed it ...90 percent of the time i cpr them, but this time it went to better use....Thankyou to bluehunter and true blue for the help and good time...PICS to come soon......TODD
