just wondering how many of you tubers have ever tipped over in or slipped out of the tube? is it highly likely?
and do you where your life vest at all times? or stowed in the back?

You have a tube ?
haha... just wondering...
Stowed in the back with a quick-disconnect for easy access....In five years of tubin the salt I have never tipped over or fell in.
I haven't been tubing for very long but I can't think of many instances where it would tip or that I would fall in. The most likely scenario I could see that would get me in the water is if I had a big leak and couldn't make it to shore on time.
I have developed leaks in both sides of my FishCat 4 and still made it around okay with only ONE full bladder both times it happened...
I'd put money on the bet that tubes are IMPOSSIBLE to "flip"...
Don't tell anyone, but I never bring a vest ... just a TIGHT nylon belt 'round my waders...
I have so much **** packed onto my tube that I have to really be leaning forward to get it to tip. Which I never have the need to do, so no worries of tipping for me.
I wear my life vest sometimes, but most of the time it's strapped to the tube or in the back compartment of my tube.
