    Just wondering what kind of gear you guys prefer for white sea bass? Looking at going out and want to make sure me and the buddies have what we need.

    rod rated 20-40....reel with 25-30 lb test......

    As heavy as you can really , thery're not line shy , its just getting
    the buggers to bite which is the hard part .....

    20-40# setup's. If they are biting full on break out the 40# gear or even 50 or 60 and just haul away. If they are line shy break out the 20#
