  1. #1

    Default Cibola again

Ole frog went back to his spot on Cibola lake again.
The target was Crappie , I did well for this area the last time I went.
    The total this trip.
    11 Crappie
    15 Bluegill ,Red-eared combo that I kept.
5 Bass 3 legal ,I kept the one bass that was bleeding.
Ole frog fished with bait only this trip worms and meal worms.
The Crappie were smaller than the last trip ,but when one catches the target it a good one.
Met only one other creature out there picture attached also the mess of fish .

Werd one congrats on your Okla. trip I meant to reply to your post .
    Looks like you had funzees.

You ask how to cook them you ask
Here one fish dish I like
In a pyrex baking dish coat with butter.
Add a layer of Crappie filets,
Take a 1/2 can of Mushroom soup and spread over the filets.
Add another layer of filets if they are small.
Add sliced onion rings to the top of this.
    ( I like a lot of onion.)
Cover this with the rest of the Mushroom soup
Add a Cheader Cheese layer to the top of this ,bake at 350 degrees.
Serve on a bed of steamed long grain California rice.

Baked fish in Mushroom sauce yummmmmm it is good .

Liteliner they are wild around here, lots of them.
We have a small herd of wild Horses just south of I 10 at Blythe .
The herd hangs around the (A-7)backwater Arizona side.
I see them every once in awhile
