Default CREEK CO. U-BOAT 2000/UNDER CONSTRUCTION..

Been having this tube for a year and a half now, brand freaking new..only used a couple of times....after seeing Rons (paintNfish) tube with a fish finder, I was influenced to slap on a portable fish finder that I had just laying in the garage...wasn't that much hard work actually...it hold up more than good, I went and tested it out @ Castaic Lagoon and worked pretty well, I use it mostly just to know the depth I'm fishing in.....I need to work on making some Rod Holders for it,....I been picking CatchThatTrout's Brain about some rod holders, so we'll see how it ends up coming out if all goes well...

hey jsauce, where did ya pick that portable fish finder up and what kind is it?
Do you have some kind of tube that goes down into water with the transducer on it? i know sport authority has these already for float tubes that sit on the side of the tube. they look pretty kewl. was debating getting one cause i have one in the garage that is collecting dust. maybe i could jimmy up something for it to sit on my tube.

Its a Humming Bird Piranha Max10....believe it or not I did not spend a dime to mount this thing....this Tube already comes with Velcro Straps,...that's how I strapped it down....it was very stable,...even as I was carrying my tube to my car, I had it upside down and it did not detach at all what so ever...Im gonna go ahead and add an extra velcro strap to the fish finder to be on the safe side,....as for the Tranducer?....ill go ahead and take a pic of the way I have it set up for you once I get home so you can get kind of an idea...I started working on the Rod Holder set up from that link that "Ghost" sent me....ill post up a pic right now,...still have not finished it though...I had just got to excited and kind of started to put it together so I can have an idea of how its gonna look like......I still need alot more to go to finish it up,....I need to shortened the tubes where the actual rod's mount, and make a groove so that the reel sits in place....well this is what I put together real quick....still got aloooooooooong way to go...
