Colorado River. PB Small mouth!!

Fished the river this weekend at the house above Blythe. They were hitting more natural presentations. Top water frogs, grubs, Storm bluegill patterns, and white tubes.

This LMB came right off of the tower you can see behind me. White 3 inch tube rigged Florida style.



I got this Small mouth on a 3.5 inch brown grub on a road runner jig head.



Then I got my personal best on the same set up. Right off of the rocks a foot from shore. 3.5 pounds. It's a record for the river house!

Not this trip. Stuck to bassin. Next trip I am going to bring some carp gear though. We saw about 30 over 10 pounds easy...

Yeah, there are some huge ones in there! I would love to get a smallie like that,,,,never caught one of those!
