    Default London fog @ Skinner

Finally got to take my little brother fishing..(ok mind you two of me = one of him)my ...ok..MAN WAS IT FOGGY!!!! I will be first to admit...I GOT LOST AT SKINNER...i knew the spot i wanted was left of the marina...so hugged the shore line...ended up in a few coves that ...maybe i should have not been in....but made it out alright...no damage to hull or bottom end.....................after a few laugh filled moments we came to the spot i wanted to fish...No love with top water..(mind you water temp was 69, 70 ...as borat would say..."very niiiiice.")...on with the spinner bait...and out pops a rat LMB...mine bro tied one on too...he has never caught a bass with the spinner-bait..casts into a pocket...bendo!!

then he proceeds to school..me ..even on a tough bite day as today was..
we switched to the old stand by..the DROP SHOT...things got a bit better..
    well for him...

then i get into the action..

(sorry bout the fuzzy pictures...bass slime on lens
the bite was tough..did see some toads..ended the day bro 6....me 4...on way out ..stopped at the rocks by the marina...drop shot.....reel reel.....shake shake...JOLT!!!
    fish on!!!

and we ended the day like that.. a tough bite ..but we got'em...
    thanks for reading..
    EL...

Very nice report El. The fog was thick this morning. Than goodness for GPS, or I would have been lost as well. Skinner is like a hidden secret. Great LMB fishing for those that know. Once again, nice job.

No I was guiding at Vail Lake, but I had the same fog as you. The fish were tearing up the blades in the fog.
