    Fished palo verda at a location given to me by bluehunter thanks again for your info by the way.Fished from 7 pm till 2 am it was a little slow to say the least but I manged a 15 lb flat and a 10 lb carp my buddy landed one channel under a pound still not sure if I'm in the right areas or if its technique used goldfish shrimp and mac atleast no skunk this time thanks to all who have given me info tight lines to you. All fish released

    Mojo, it is a challenge in that area for sure. So much to learn. Good job on the big cat!

    Good going on the 15 pounder that is a good catch. That whole canal is a flathead zone and there are many other spots along that stretch just have to set it up and wait for them to come by. The season will progressively get better the cats are in spawning mode for bow. June actually is a good month down that way.
