Any Macks at Newport pier?

Hi I was juss wondering if there were any macks to catch at newport pier. since its catfish season wanted to stock up on bait.

Last I was there on 6/6 and 6/8 there was enough to stock my freezer for the season! All caught on krocodile lures!! Have Fun

I usually go at night time and I use frozen shrimp. I have no luck at all and only catch sculpins :( . Anyways i was wondering what would be a good time to go

This last weekend macks in the day, 10+lb. squid at night.
