    I have one on the Crestliner. It truly is the best investment for trolling.
    Besides being able to go extremly slow. The plate will also allow better slow speed control at troll speeds through the low end throttle band.
    Example.. I can set my boat at 1.6mph or 1.8mph (GPS speed) and the plate will help hold that particular speed constant with little variation.

    Best trolling investment I ever bought. Use it religiously for a slower verision of bounce-balling.You can see it in these older photos on the back of my skiff. I only fish the butts for 8 to 10 weeks a year in L.A. area and get 20+ lb'rs all the time.Best Day ever for quantity-34 legals in 7 hours
