Thread: Daiwa Fuego users opinions

    Default Daiwa Fuego users opinions

I am thinking of getting the Daiwa Fuego 1000 or 1500a I know the specs but Im leaning towards the 1500a (only reason would be for the 8.8lbs of drag the 1000 has 4.4lbs)

Also looking at getting a 2500a (surf fishing and maybe load the spare with spectra for island fishing).

Would like to know the opions of any owners of the above reels.

    thanks in advance for helping

    Great Reels!
Screw 8lbs of drag. I only use 2-3.
    1500A model and loving it.

1000 and the 1500 size are trout reels. If your going to fish fluoro, get the 2500 size.

I was thinking of getting the 1000 or 1500 for 2-4lbs test (trout fishing, lite tackle)

and since i was picking one of those up I was thinking of getting the 2500 as a spare surf reel, but thanks for the info
