    Default Dvl 4/19

This is a late report, but better late then never.

Went fishing at DVL on Sunday again in pursuit of trout, but could not find any willing to commit. So I tried along the West Dam for some bass, had one hook-up, but it broke off. I got cocky and used 2lb to try to land the bad boy. After that miss I only had one other bite in cove. Used 6lb Izor with a 1/8oz slider and a Watermelon baby brush hog.

Is this a Smallie of Largie or a Hybrid? I'm leaning more to the Smallie side.

That's a chunky smallmouth. Brush hogs are killer baits. Good Job!

Whoa. That smallie really does have marking like a largemouth, but
I'm gonna go with smallie. 1.8oz for a c-rig brush hog on 6lb?
