Thread: Heatwave fishing?

  1. #1

    Default Heatwave fishing?

Just out of curiousity, where is a good lake to fish at in this heat and what should I be fishing for?

My outdoor station reads 98, but then again I am in Bakersfield.

This hot, I am not making an attempt to go fishing. LOL

I know what you mean, I just dropped out a couple of months ago. My fishing time is already too limited by the job and the wife to also share it with school. I did hit up Success on 4/23 (delayed by the family) and it was very nice. In the tube, with the wind blowing it felt like a nice spring day. The fish seemed to like the weather too. It was my best trip of the year (first one where I lost the skunk) so far.
