    Default 4/12 - Turdrollers on da chew

    Wifey and I launched out of Davies @ 0730. Baited up at LBBC, nice cured lively 5-7" dines. Target was gonna be lingcods/halibuts @ the shoe. Unfortunately, once I got to the spot all my bait rolled up cuz my baitpump had seized while in transit. Plan B, fish plastics!!! 4in. BH (Xmas tree, baysmelt and clear w/ red sparkle) and Lucanus jigs. Got to Izors @ about 10 and went to work the reefs. Mucho grumpies were waiting for my swimbait, double hook up at times. 30+ sandies caught between me and the wifey. Range from 15-21". Most were CR'd..Kept limits for dinner tacos tonight with the in-laws. Off the water by 1230.

    Hi Jikser,

    WTG on the fishys !! And on the 'naked' plastics is even better. Gotta love Izors. Yourself and other PBers seem to do so well there on the Bass ....... while I feel lucky if I manage a limit of Sculpin on the moo-moos and Bass for me are few and far between there ! ha ha
