Palo verde/mitchells camo 4-7/4-10

My boy and I camped mitchells camp on the palo verde out fall and fished the daytime for small stripers, channels.redear ,lmb, smb with the largest going 1 lb .Ran the boat down to main river for no love ,on thurs ran boat up to bridge for smallmouth dinc fest and 1 12" keeper.Boat crapped out so we huck finned our way back to camp, good thing about a 9 yr old no smack talking when the motor died, we just paddled and floated back. all fish caught on crawlers it was really windy so no night fishing. the ox bow campground is pretty overgrown on the water so only a couple of spots to keep your boat in the water on the river side

about 20 minutes up the oxbow running 15 mph, the signs fot the outflow say no wake but htey dont list a speed and a 13ft gregor on plane leaves no wake
