looking for some advise on a ocean 3/4 day for my pops

well i'm planning on taking out my stepdad and my g/f's dad out for a ocean trip for a 3/4 day. But it has been 3 years since i have hit the ocean up.

I took my step dad out in 03 off the victory in long beach or the freelance i can't really remeber. But it was for fathers day and he had such a good time that he still talks about it till this day.

So i figured that i would do it again but this time also invite my girl and her pop's too.

So i was wondering what landing has been doing really good on the 3/4 days?

also what test line should i be going for? I'm guessing about 15 to 20.

Also is the sand bass about to spawn because thats when i took him out last time and we both came home with limits fishing off hunington flats.


also what should i bring with me other then hooks and weights, lure wise what is killing um out there at the moment.




I know this was alot of questions but i really want to make this trip awesome for my stepdad and my g/f's dad because this is part of both there fathers day gifts.
