    Default 28th Annual Tommy Thomas Kids Fishing Derby

    Its that time again!!!!

    On Saturday April 11, 2009, Lake Perris SRA will be hosting the 28th Annual Tommy Thomas Kids Fishing Derby. The event will take place from 7am-1pm in parking lot #12(Powercove). The derby is for kids ages 15 and under. The event includes the fishing derby, raffle prizes, coloring contest (for the little ones), and a BBQ. All of the activities are free with paid park admission. If you have any questions or would like to come out and volunteer, call Lake Perris Headquarters at (951)940-5600.

    We've been going for the past three years and will definitely be there again this year. Hopefully, there'll be less windy conditions this year.

    Nah, leave it low. I don't miss those 30+ fish days at all. Besides, the long walk down to the water is good exercise. LOL.
