    Default SARL- 3/20/09 Night Session

    Our friend, the bf and I decided to hit SARL for a quick night session. I left work at 4 and arrived by 4:30 and met up with the boys with very few cars in line. They were in front of the line so I had nothing to worry about. The gate opened and it was a run to the tackle store for a 6 pack and 2 tall cans of Coors light then off to the spot to meet with them. Our lines were set and in the water within a few minutes of arriving and Matt is hooked up. To make a short story shorter, we ended up with 4 nice fish to take home. Matt- 3(2 trout 1 released bluegill) and myself- 2 trout. My two were caught on orange chroma-glow power bait rolled into worms, and Matt’s were on night crawler as well as rainbow power bait.
    After 3 consecutive skunked trips, I can now stop believing that all trout hate me! Great way to start the weekend and I hope to have another report up in two weeks from Silverwood!

    Good job out there on the night fishing! I had planned to do the overnight on Friday and had to cancel at the last moment and it looks like I missed out. With the water level so high at the lake I was thinking the bubble hole would be a good place to start fishing again. Thanks for the report!
