Arrived at the lake around 6ish.Launched the boat and trolled the west shore up to the dam.
It was a morning bite for us today.Needlefish, silver and the chartreuse were the productive colors. Tried a few crankbaits, but didnt seem to want those.Was hotter that spit by 11:30 or so.Bite shut down waaay before then, I'd say we caught our last one around 10:30.Talked to a few guys in other boats, consensus was 3-4fish per boat.Didnt check with the shore fisherman, Jimmy said they been killin them though. ;) Talked with a couple guys crappie fishing, they said no crappie??? but something like 4 bass and 7 or so trout! Crap, I knew I shoulda threw some tubes at some of the fish I was metering....ohh well, kinda lazy today with the heat.Our final score was 4 fish all good quality, full finned, around 2-2.5lbs each...nothing of size.Gonna try again next week, dammit I want that lloyd!

Thanks for the nice report. WTG on the catch. It has been pretty slow. Cindy
