    Default Critters & Crusties 3/14 w-pics

Took my good buddy Jason “jscrib” out fishing aboard my big boat, the “Big Drum”. Sea conditions were a bit lumpy from heavier winds offshore, but the local winds were only around 5-10 knots. We fished the afternoon and evening for a bunch of Sand Bass, Calico Bass, Sheephead, Brown Rockfish, Sculpin, Blacksmith Perch and Rubberlip Perch.

Here I am with my first Sand Bass of the day on the Sumo iron.

Jason and his first Sand Bass of the day.

Jason and his jackpot Sand Bass weighing in at 6.25 pounds. Good going Scribby!

Vinnie with another “I bear clouds” Bass.

    Jason and another Sandie.

Here I am with one of the two double hook-ups that I got on the tandem swim bait set-up.

Here’s another Sand Bass on the tandem set-up; however, without his buddy, that came off on the way to the boat.

Jason and another quality Turd Roller.

Final crustacean kill of the season. Limits of Lobsters and some big Yellow Crabs. Can’t wait till next season.

Had another great time on the water, can’t wait to go again. HOOK-UP!!

    Till next tide,

That squid was the bomb, it really helped to fool those big Bass.
