    Default Cochella Valley???

    Hey guys im going there for 3 day's i wanted to see if you could help me out.I am going to fish lake cahuilla for bass and trout what works out there?What color Robo worm for d/s? Also i want to hit up the canals for some bass whats a good place to start?? I dont want to get stuck in the middle of no where + i want to catch my first small mouth.any info would help.Thanks

    Hopefully Desert Cat will weigh in here as he is probably the most knowledgable on this lake.
    For bass,I personally walk the rock jetty & cast either a small spinnerbait or rattle trap.Trout fisherman seem to do well in the northeast corner.Good luck

    Thanks for the info..I just got back from the lake.I got the big skunk but i saw a lot of 3-7 lb cats on the surface got one to bite the robo but missed it.Also what corner is the north east is it kinda by where the water flows out to the canal?

    Maybe my directions are off,but across the lake to the right if your standing were the canal enters the lake.You didn't see any LMB?

    Hey desert cat i dont really know the area to well.Im staying in palm desert so what hwy/road would i take to get to the canal in cochella..also do you know if its worth it to try for small mouth right now?Also whats the best bait/color?Thanks for all the info.

    Desert Cat,it has been reported that the sheriff has been writing tickets up for off roading along the canal.Have you heard anything like that?
