went to one of the local holes a couple days ago. Was a lot slower then usual. only managed to get 1 fish all day but it was a nice quality fish. she was caught on dropshot with a 7 inch worm. still a little slow out there but give it should be great in a couple of weeks!

i don't know if this site's got more shore fishermen than guys with boats, but almost every fish i've seen over four pounds in the last three months has been out of a pond. good work man, that's impressive for fish that get that much pressure.

thanks man! i appreciate the comment. yah these parks are a frkn pain in the *****! I try to go out on the boat as much as possible but lately moneys been a problem so ive been fishing local parks to save some money. not as fun as a big lake but it feels awesome to get a nice fish out of those pressured ponds!
