    Default Last minute Hoopin.

    With the sun setting later now, I decided to get the boat wet and get me some bugs before season ended. Since I dove on Monday night and now have no air, I loaded up the nets and took off with Hotchkiss, Wildhorse and Hotchkiss' friend. Ralph had my cages and told him to bring them and had Ken pick up some bait at the market. Worked like a charm and we were at the ramp at 6pm. Beautiful day but glad I brought a jacket cuz it got cold once dark. First pull was at 8 pm and last pull was at 11pm. One shy of limits for us and a few crab...

    Bait of choice was the ever oily macks and water depth was 45'.

    NICE BUGS GUYS , thats a good looking boat . Is that a custom pulley [ black ] on the right front of bow for pulling nets faster ? if so cool .

    No, not custom at all, you can get them for about $25. Keeps the rope away from the side preventing rope stains on my glass.
