    Default catfish @ SARL this week

    Im thinking about going at night thursday for cats since i dont have any luck on catching trout there. Any recommdation on which spot would be more likely to produce cats? In the past i mainly used chicken livers and salad shrimp, I caught alot fish on those two baits. Any die hard catfish floks here on the message board? I live close to redondo beach and i hear that fresh cut mackrel is the ticket.

    Haven't heard of a single cat for like 3-4 months, but good luck. Macks have
    always been the hottest bait there for me.

    This time of the year, you don't have to buy bait for cats. Just go pick out some trout guts out of the garbage near the cleaning station. You may want to bring some bait just in case, but trout guts work really well.
