    Default Pine Flat Lake

    It was a tough day on the bass. My cousin managed to get only two spotted bass around 10 inches each. I didn't get any bass. On the other hand, it was a great day on trout. We C&R approx. 35-40 trouts, lost approx. 20, and kept our limit. The trouts are biting and really aggresive for their size. They trouts weren't too big, but we had a blast. The largest ran about 2-3 lbs. Sorry we didn't get any pics. We forgot the camera.

    Right now, the trout are going crazy over everything....at least that's what I've heard from many people. Bass are basically not active right now. Most people who are currently fishing the lake are targeting trout....
