2 Lake split! Secret bait 0wned !
Ok Tuesday before work I hit up Pyramid and got skunked !
Ok now that I got that out of the way,lets get to the Irvine Lake report!
I was at the lake all by my lonely and was talking with Troutdog about where to fish.I was lost.Most of the lake is under water and the camp grounds are just about.I already knew the rain was coming so I parked up top of the flats.I kicked it at the flats from 6:30-10am.A few taps here and there and them dayum black ducks was pissing me off.One of them stole my secret bait. Bastards!
10am it was time to hit midway of TroutIsland.Set up one line on Jimmy colored powerbait and one line nightcrawler Mitz combo.a tap for nothing.Pulled the Mits combo out and put on the "Timster 0wnz more than y0 momma special comb0 " Bendo,but famred it!The only thing that was missing was the power egg? I was clueless about that miss.
Well talked to Chum leg and Troutdog again and I told them I wasnt going to get skunked even if I had to put my beers down to do some real fishing,with lure and jigs. I knew I had some credit with the fish gods and wanted to cash some of it in. Put on the "Hitts0n 0wnz all your beer "comb0 and the bobbers went to doing the trolly shuffle !
One pole goes ZzzZZZZzZZZzzZzZzzZZZZZ................!!!
Powerbait on the Jimmy colored powerbait brings me in a 2lber!
Had to cut the line on a deep swallow.
So I had a third pole already set up to toss in.Threw on the " Hitts0n Team N.C.B secret bait that I will never tell anyone else" and whamo !
All the fish were down deep! Between 11:45 am - 12:45 pm non stop action !
Now the rain is coming down harder and I was pounding beers more singing in the rain with the radio on looking like a wet hobo !
I farmed like 3 fish,and another on a bad knot! (Koshaw)
I sat in the car watching my secret bait do all the work!
Then,this dayum thing rolled up on my killing all my action !
Ewww ! Pissed me off I started speaking in spanish and the guys just started laughing!
