    During the cold months Oct-Jan. You can catch a gang load of these down in Shoreline Village (LBC) piers...

    My buddy and I used to catch these damn things all the time. very annoying...and they bark or growl or make some kind of noise

    They supposedly move into the bays to spawn.. The males sing to attract females.. Residents hate them...




    I doubt you caught a Ling in the bay.. Not very likely... I guess anything is possible though...

    I agree with Frank. Not saying it can't be but I also doubt that it's a ling. It'll be a first that I've heard of.

    sounds like it could be a cabezon if u said it resembles a sculpin...they have the same effect as one if u get pricked by the spines on the fins
