Default drifted all day and only manage a headache 2.18.09

got to the lake at 630 and begin our quest for that record slab...drifted all morning along with the wind from one end of the lake to another....did a couple runs back and forth and only manage to get 4 to commit...it was cold and windy and that really got my head hurting all morning long...the wind picked up big time and the water clarity was horrible so we packed up and left around noon...did manage to take a couple pictures of the catch:

my catch (the first couple victim on my new reel):

    CM's Catch: (he can't stop smiling...LMFAO )

If this doesnt qualified as the "57 photo of the week" than someone will be upset:

BTW pm CrappieMike if u want to know which lake or how to catch them he's the one with all the answer

Yeah, it was a slow day. I managed two myself which is exactly as long as my shoe which makes it 12 inches.
Mike, it was good to see you.
Seng, for some reason it felt wierd to see you on another boat. LOL!

Nice job on the slabs and great effort. Makes me want to get back into crappie fishing again. I used to do it alot back in minnesota and didnt really try in cali cause i didnt think there were good populations on the lakes to target them efficiently. You guys are proving my thoughts terribly wrong though. Im gonna have to break out the crappie jig box once again.
