    well happy b-lated bday 8)

heres some i came across u might like

    BARRACUDA NUGGETS (Italian Style)

Cut fillets into chunks. Place chunks into a large bowl and
rinse well with fresh water to remove slime and any debris.
    Drain off water.

Mix in 1-2 eggs (depending on the amount of fish to be prepared)
to coat the chunks. Drain off excess egg from bowl.

Place chunks in a large bag. Add PROGRESSO ITALIAN STYLE
BREAD CRUMBS. Shake well to coat chunks evenly.

Place fish chunks in a hot frying pan with a generous amount
of butter (do not use oil). Cook and turn fish frequently until
browned. Do not over-cook or the fish will be tough and tasteless.

    BARRACUDA NUGGETS (Cajun Style)

Cut fillets into chunks. Place chunks into a large bowl and rinse
well with fresh water to remove slime and any debris.
    Drain off water.

Place chunks in a large bag. Add CAJUN SEASONING. Shake well
    to coat chunks evenly.

Place fish chunks in a hot frying pan with a generous amount of
butter (do not use oil). Cook frequently until done.

    BARRACUDA NUGGETS (BBQ Style)

Rinse fillets (skin on) with fresh water to remove slime
    and any debris.

Marinate in Italian dressing or Teriyaki sauce and refrigerate
covered for at least 1-2 hours.

Cook over low heat, skin side down (do not turn fish) cook
all the way through on skin side down.

Helpful Hint: always remove fish from heat (either range top
or BBQ) when fish is cooked 3/4 through. Retained heat will
continue to cook the fish without over-cooking and ruining taste
    and texture

I'm sure some people have heard this recipe before with certain other species such as mackeral, but it works well with barracuda too -

    1. Bring 5 cups of water to boil on the stovetop
    2. Add barracuda filets and bring to simmer
    3. Add enough rocks to cover bottom of pot
    4. Simmer for 2-3 more minutes
    5. Toss out barracuda filets and eat rocks

Yeah, I'm sure BBQ barracuda is really good. All you have to do is put tons of sauces and spices on them to kill the taste, then BBQ the hell out of them to kill it even more, and then it will be semi-palatable.

man bbq cuda was the best fish i have ever cooked. i put steaks in a galon ziplock bag with teriaki sauce and hole cloves of garlic. and put it in the fridge for a few hrs 2-4 should be good. then i get the grill goin... let it get good and hot then scrape it well. next i cut a potato in half and rub it all over the grill.. use both halfs. this keeps the fish from stickin to the grill. with a hot grill i open the vents to get the fire going really good. throw the cuda steaks on there and kinda sear it up. about a min on each side to get some good color. then i squeeze some lemon juce on them. after u applied the lemon juce close the vents on the grill and close the lid. should take another 7-8 mins to cook depending on the thickness of the cuda steaks. you will love them cooked like this. i also cook thresher shark the same way.
